Keir Starmer could have ended child poverty, homelessness and the grotesque levels of inequality in this country.
Instead, he abandoned those in need, destroyed our civil liberties and facilitated genocide in Gaza.
That is how this Prime Minister will be remembered - and that is the legacy of moral and political bankruptcy he leaves behind.
The crises in our society are not going away. Neither are we - and we will keep fighting for a more equal, peaceful and dignified society for all.
My review of My Royal Nemesis 🤭
It started strong and had me hooked, but the ending left me with too many unanswered questions. The side characters barely got any development, and the last two episodes felt unnecessary.
The actors did well—my issue is with the writing. Overall, it’s a 6/10 for me. Strong start, weak finish.
This is so heartbreaking; He's just a kid. The pain in his voice is evident.
This is institutional racism in action.
Daryl McLune, 16 at the time, was arrested in Wandsworth in July 2021 on suspicion of attempted murder after his mum, Annette McLune, jumped from the roof of their flat in a suicide attempt.
He'd been at his grandma's and cycled home to find his mum critically injured. He was then handcuffed in the street and held for nearly 24 hours, despite not being involved.
Police later found a suicide note and razor blades showing it was self-harm, and he was released without charge. The experience left him with PTSD and affected his schooling.
He later sued the Met Police, and a jury found he was racially discriminated against and treated less fairly than a non-Black boy would have been, awarding him £130,000.
His barrister said it wasn't careful policing, it was a child in crisis being wrongly treated as a suspect, and that discrimination can be unconscious.
the toughest part about being an adult is understanding that life goes on no matter what you’re going through. you LITERALLY have to show up even if you’re sad, exhausted, heartbroken or grieving. life won’t slow down for you, SO YOU HAVE TO KEEP MOVING.
Hate to admit it, but they were right… you kind of do need to disappear, lock in like crazy, raise your standards, and refuse to lower them to get your dream life.
Maybe we need livable wage. Compassion. Affordable housing. Compassion. More funding for programs and shelters, mental health support for the homeless. Compassion.
This is a challenge for everyone who believes individuals and companies should not be silenced in talking about Palestine.

They thought they were going to get a dumb angry punk ranting. Instead they got articulate and considered responses to each question with facts to back it up when needed. Their hope to further vilify me couldn’t run, so they target Louis to make an example for sitting with me.
@omgsidewalks Adulthood comes with responsibilities, battles, and seasons where people have to pull back to take care of themselves.
It’s not always about you.
Instead of assumptions that you've lost someone, reach out to them and let them know you're still in their corner.
