JUST IN: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the use of Red Dye No. 3, which is used in thousands of food products and is made from petroleum.

Red Dye No. 3 has been linked to cancer in animals. The dye give beverages and foods a bright red cherry color.

“The dye is still used in thousands of foods, including candy, cereals, cherries in fruit cocktails and strawberry-flavored milkshakes,” NBC reported.

Food manufacturers have until January 15, 2027 to fix their products.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been a strong advocate for removing dyes from food products, specifically Yellow Dye No. 5 and Red Dye No. 40.

Comete un grave y torpe error el Congreso, en restituir la firma del ex dictador Alberto Fujimori, en la constitución del 93. No hace sino abonar la tesis de quienes quieren una nueva constitución a través de una asamblea constituyente.
La C93 fue producto del Congreso Constituyente Democrático (CCD) donde participó la izquierda, el centro (con la excepción de AP) y la derecha y fue después ratificada vía referéndum.
Fujimori huyó del Perú y habiendo sido presidente del Perú, se declaró japonés y postuló al Senado de ese país.
Los abusos, corruptelas y tropelías durante sus sucesivos periodos, que incluyeron el desprestigio de opositores (Andrade y Castañeda) mediante los diarios Chicha, el uso de fondos públicos para fines políticos y actos de corrupción a los que el mismo Fujimori aceptó la acusación fiscal, justifican plenamente la remoción de su rúbrica.
