#cl5307@dzukor I plan to personalize learning fo is by talking with students individually about what methods of learning are most effective for them, and then implementing that for them through technology. Some are visual learners, while others would rather read or listen!
@ChloeJuettner This is nice! I definitely agree in making communication a #1 priority for your students. Everyone wants to be able to express themselves :)
@dzukor One question I have about teaching technology so far is how do we get teachers to implement new technology into their curriculum if they are insistent that the old way is better?
@swati1201@dzukor A4: Honestly, one of my favorite teaching sources is different forms of social media. It is something that many people are interested in and engage in. It's also such a cool way to get people connected and share their ideas and perspectives with each other.
@swati1201@dzukor A3: Problem solving plays a huge part in every aspect of education. I think technology plays a significant role with this because a lot of time it allows teachers to make accommodations for students who were not able to participate before
@swati1201@dzukor A2: Hi I'm Nina! I think that I could grow my connections in the professional learning network by joining various clubs, reaching out to others in the same field, and also sharing my own ideas and opinions with others. #pstpln
@swati1201 A1: Hi! I'm Nina and I am a special education major at the U of M. One way I will try to meet the needs of all the students in my classroom is by acknowledging that they are all unique and that they have different wants/needs to make them successful in the classroom. #pstpln
@dzukor from class 2, I thought the Loom app was super cool and could be really helpful for students. It is simple to use, and it completely walks the viewer through something, while also being able to see the teacher. I could see this being helpful in all types of classrooms.
@dzukor from class 1 the most interesting framework was the SAMR model. I thought that it clearly communicated the message that to implement more technology into your classroom you do not need to completely redo your curriculum. You can simply enhance something you already do.
