BREAKING: Deep red Missouri votes to repeal near-total abortion ban and codify abortion until viability into the state constitution. https://t.co/lSZGBL0ifm
In passing Amendment 3, Missouri is the first state where voters moved to undo an active abortion ban, but there's a long, long road ahead until abortions can resume. There are zero licensed clinics in the state.

I cannot emphasize enough how disturbing it is that Fulton and Dekalb county voting precincts were targeted for bomb threats.
These are the biggest, Blackest counties in Georgia. A quarter of the state's Black population between them.

@KEBrightbill that's awesome! I hope it's good news for democracy and the climate. Based on other stuff I've seen you posting about, I'm glad to see that people there believe they can actually make change happen in order to protect their habitat!
We should get reimbursed for time spent standing in line to vote, like we do for doing jury duty. Maybe that would encourage states to pass vote-by-mail.
yes, there's a big election and the future of the planet is on the line, but I just accidentally swung my hand in the corner of a counter as I was walking past and it really hurts. #ouch
“Both sides suck!”
Sure. I hear ya. But if we decide to have another kid, I don’t want my wife to die in childbirth like a fuckin pilgrim. So I voted democrat
I weirdly scared that there will be so many people "vote switching" that Oregon will go red. There's just too much that can go wrong and I hope everyone votes for Harris because that is the only choice that will get us vital climate protections, civil rights, and possibly SCOTUS.
