Nakatakda nang magsimula sa Abril 15 ang pagbabawal sa mga tricycles, pushcarts, pedicabs, kuligligs, e-bikes, e-trikes at mga light electric vehicles sa mga national, circumferential, at radial roads sa Metro Manila.

Narito ang mga listahan ng pangunahing lansangan na hindi maaaring dumaan at bumagtas ang mga naturang sasakyan.

Pagmumultahin ng P2,500 ang mga nagmamaneho ng mga naturang unit na mahuhuling dumadaan sa mga piling pangunahing lansangan sa Metro Manila. Habang kukumpiskahin at i-impound naman ang mga unit kung hindi rehistrado at/o wala maipakitang lisensya ang driver.

Kamakailan ay inaprubahan ng Metro Manila Council ang MMDA Regulation No.24-002 Series of 2024 na nagbabawal sa mga tricycles, pushcarts, pedicabs, kuligligs, e-bikes, e-trikes at mga light electric vehicles na dumaan sa national roads, circumferential roads, radial roads at mga lugar na sakop o nasa hurisdiksyon ng MMDA.

Ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pagdami ng mga light electric vehicles sa mga lansangan at pagtaas ng road crash incident na kanilang kinasasangkutan. #mmda
