The animals are safer there than on the streets or in some homes. To end this program you might as well say we should ban pets because too many people abuse them.

The animals aren't subjected to inhumane cruelty, except in this one case. Theres a lot this post leaves out about the program

@Real_Ames The animals aren't there to make the inmates feel better about being in prison. They have helped rehabilitate criminals into wanting to become better. The other people who are in this program will probably attack this guy because of what he did and how it's going to affect others

@robbhurstCPA @Airbnb Yes. I can't afford a bill saying I left a mess anywhere or anything. If I'm at a hotel/motel it's a rare treat to visit family, not to spend an arm and a leg on fees. Plus it's just general kindness. The workers get paid if I don't leave a mess, so why not make it easier on them
