@Inplainsightyyy@Nowooski@varrock I stared and that for a while and remain baffled. "Black people" is a different category than "black women"? Is it some odd sort of "birthing people" transgender-related thing? Are black women not people? Whatever is going it's quite the torturing of language.
Loki telling the child to attack Thor but she doesn’t want to leave him-
I know this is Disneyland Loki but it would 100% happen with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki as well.
If Mjolnir were simply unliftable, then why can an elevator carry it up 🚨
If it were really that simple, Tony could’ve built a robot just to mess with it. Even his dum-E machine could lift it.
But here’s the truth: Mjolnir isn’t about weight. It’s about will.
When Thor drops the hammer, it chooses to stay. That’s the key difference.
Remember the desert scene in Thor (2011)? No machine could lift it, not because they weren’t strong enough, but because Mjolnir’s magic refused to cooperate.
Same with the coat hanger. Thor placed the hammer on it ,the hanger didn’t lift Mjolnir; Mjolnir allowed itself to rest there.
And Vision lifting it wasn’t “because he’s a robot.” It was because the Mind Stone allowed him to connect with the hammer on a level beyond physical strength.
Mjolnir doesn’t respond to force.
It responds to worth.
@dizifilmbulteni @kickingcomics I don't know what other answer there could be. It sets up a massive shakeup, chaos planet-wide, problems with Thor & the Asgardians...following up on that would be a film, or something winding its way through every project. But it was awful. There's no halfway: embrace or ignore.
Just watched Deep Cover. Perfect pic for the day. I'm not easy to win over in comedies, especially these days, but I laughed some good laughs here, & Orlando Bloom...man, just killed me, so funny! I totally crushed on him in Troy &...🤣 yeah still a fine-looking man too! 👍👍
Don't get me wrong. I'll eat it up anyway if it makes for good drama, & just try to silence the part of my brain that screams out about the associated problems. MCU's time travel makes for a better commercial film project than Beneath's so I guess I should get off the high horse!
LOLLLL Folks. This is why time travel is virtually ALWAYS a bad idea in writing (assuming logic matters to you, which, sure, it doesn't have to). This & so many similar things. This is why I wrote time travel the way I did in #Beneath. Zero impact on past, only on present.
“where does my name come from dad?”
“it was my best friend’s name”
“can i meet him?”
“not right now because while we’re playing happy families, he’s getting tortured by hydra, son”
