Taylor Dearden’s dad, Bryan Cranston, would support her no matter what career she chose:
“As a parent, if my daughter said she wanted to be an entomologist, if she wanted to study bugs, that she loves bugs, I’d be very happy for her, and I’d encourage her to continue on with it.
Because as a parent, I just want your child to be happy, that’s what every parent wants. That’s it.
So [I told her], ‘If you find a pathway to happiness, then I’ll be happy. But you have to know that you’re not doing this for me. Don’t try to please me, it’s for yourself. Be in this for your specific love or interest and pursue that.”
Bryan Cranston, Taylor’s dad, shared a story about when she was 6 or 7 and started crying because they weren't going to Australia for a Breaking Bad movie via Sunrise:
“Dad, take a picture of me crying and send it to them.” 😭🤍
