it’s actually insane how quickly people can turn a messy event into an excuse to hate aespa they were the ones standing on that stage in the pouring rain, still smiling, waving, interacting with the crowd and doing what they could to make the night enjoyable. even the send off situation is being twisted into something it clearly wasn’t, with people who weren’t there confidently filling in the blanks themselves and somehow using that to call the girls racist, homophobic and mean when there’s literally no basis for any of that 🫩
not every decision at an event is something the members get to decide. sometimes things are simply out of their hands, and blaming them for the organizer’s shortcomings is ridiculous. seeing their actual efforts get completely overlooked while people build their own version of events from tiny clips just because it gets engagement is so frustrating
