#PortfolioDay has come and gone and I usually don't participate because so much of our stuff is under NDA. BUT, we've just released our new studio showreel, and a bunch of stuff in it has been cleared for the first time! So I'm gonna post a few things 1/9

Best of luck to Sky Brown of Team GB on the Skateboarding Park qualifications and finals today! 🛹 As long as you stay on the board longer than our skateboarding marmotte, we reckon you'll be a shoe-in!
You might have needed to cover your ears when the crowd exploded at the end of the Olympics Men's Singles Tennis yesterday! 🎾
At his fourth Olympics, Djokovic added a gold medal to complete a full set of wins in all four grand slams, the ATP Finals, and now the Olympics too. 🥇
Best of luck to everyone competing in the Pole Vault final this evening! Here's to hoping you do better than this wee fellow🥇
We had the pleasure of modelling & texturing the environment and props, pre-vis, full character animation, & lookdev for this pole vaulting Marmotte.
@MichaelG_3D Had this happen a few times - don’t lie about your skill set. It’s fine to figure things out and problem solve as you go, but don’t just bullshit to get a role that you have no idea how to do, that’s a waste of everyone’s time.
We're excited to share this short behind-the-scenes video, detailing some of the processes and development that went into the creation of "Watchdog", the new digital embodiment of brand for Space Coast Credit Union 🐶💙

so, enough time has passed now for me to talk about why i decided to leave Blizzard. a mixed year with great teammates, but a management that mistreated, lied to me, gaslit me, gave me a fake promotion, and HR that refused to help.
buckle up friendos. 💪
@DoigSwift Only downsides we came across were that you seemingly can't export as ProRes in the current build, so we had to pass frames to Premiere for our final exports, and it was occasionally a bit laggy in the timeline editor (although this might have been due to the 8K footage!).
@DoigSwift We started using Resolve recently in the studio. As an all-in-one edit/grade solution it's really impressive, there's a bit of a learning curve coming from Premiere in the way it partitions stages of the edit process out, but you can do super-cool stuff with it.
