In the midst of the craziness that was Q1 of this year I took some time out with the team to chat vision. We wanted to examine the moment, understand where we felt the market was sitting and where we saw it moving over the rest of the year. As we talked the vision for HyperLend's next step became clearer and clearer. It was time to think bigger.
We've designed HyperLend to be accessible to any user. No matter how much capital you're bringing to the system you'll always be able to supply and borrow against your assets through our decentralized frontend. Access to credit for all is a fundamental part of our vision for the protocol and we're very proud of the way we're building towards that.
But, in conversations with peers, investors and institutional managers we realised that purely on-chain deployment can still be limiting for some actors. In particular, larger or more traditional capital deployers often need structure, or specific requirements to allocate capital. HyperLend is here to act as the credit layer for all allocators in the HYPE ecosystem, so it was clear it was time for something new.
It was time for Aviya.
Aviya is HyperLend's brand new private, compliance gated institutional credit venue. It's a controlled alternative to purely permissionless lending systems, designed with the stringent compliance requirements needed for institutional deployment in mind, whilst also offering flexibility to allocators. With an initial focus on structured products built around HYPE collateral and a vision for so much more, Aviya is sure to become the home of structured credit on Hyperliquid.

In light of recent events, we at HyperLend want to extend our sincere support to those affected, these are truly difficult times, and our DMs are always open if anyone wants to talk.
HyperLend had no exposure and all flows have continued processing smoothly. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please don't hesitate to reach out, we're happy to walk you through everything. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, HL fam.
