@Northpowergrid could you tell me when works will start in DL12 9UN area please? No power since Friday night, can’t go anywhere as we’ve got farm animals to look after. Estimate keeps changing, and we’ve got 2 pensioners and 6month pregnant woman on premises with no heat&water

Bought it 2 months ago as my 15yo gave up 😭 not too heavy, I can lift it into the van and I’m sure you can fold the handles to make it smaller

I think one of the reasons that gardening is so good for us is the sense of achievement.
Whether its managing to grow veg or flowers from seed to just pulling out a few weeds, any time in a garden always feels like time well spent

I picked up this crisp packet this week.

Its expiry date read 18 Sep 1999.

In 1999, I was just 19. It was the year I met my wife Jackie. In a few weeks, I turn 40.

This crisp packet had laid there discarded for 20 years.

Plastic does not rot - makes you think, doesn't it?!?!

I've started sieving last year's leaf mould. It's mixed with seived compost, perlite, sand and coffee grinds. Just waiting for some wood Ash then it will be bagged up for spring. No horse manure anymore! #gardening #gyo #allotmentlife #nodig #compost
