@ScottAdamsSays@joelpollak My dad worked as a computer programmer and loved your comics. He was not an admirer of any other comics, so far as I know. Each time I read one, I feel connected to him and remember seeing the Dilbert daily comic calendar he used to keep on his office desk.
I just finished reading @grahamfarmelo's The Strangest Man. It's unbelievably moving and well written. Paul Dirac, as a man and as a character, essentially screams off the page for a portrayal and I predict someone will win an Oscar if they treat the role respectfully.
What you donβt see in the published version of this debate is my first opponent approaching me and saying, βIβm so sorry about your friend Charlie.β
It was the day before his memorial. This sincere gesture set the tone.
I had already made it my aim to disarm them with kindness, but the truth is, many of them disarmed me, too.
Iβve seen a lot of people say this was different than other Jubilee debates. Everyone felt that in the moment β even the producers, who are progressive, said so.
Youβll just have to believe me when I tell you the Holy Spirit was there. And while all the credit goes to Jesus, I have to thank Charlie for how he coached me before this debate and how, even in death, he helped bring honor to Jesus.
@SteveKrak@BridgetPhetasy Excited to listen and pick up a copy of your book. Btw, can you convince Megyn to do a podcast episode in front of a live audience, I think that would be a lot of fun.
@walterkirn@TuckerCarlson You had me nervous. It sounded like you were winding up for 10 minutes to eventually explain why you didn't want to be Librarian of Congress.
