Today on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the September 11th (9/11) attacks, we honour members of our Indo-Caribbean community who lost their lives. Unless otherwise stated, they passed away at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York City when the Twin Towers were hit (1/4).

@cutlassmagazine Agnes Bowler nee Calyasa (1896-1946) the daughter of Calyasa and Sittalee in Saint Mary, Jamaica survived the loss of her first husband by becoming a seamstress raising nine children before ultimately passing away as a shopkeeper.
