Going through and donating the books I loved as a middle and high schooler is a unique feeling. So many good memories that I’m happy to pass on, but nostalgic for those times as well.
A snapshot of Philadelphia, and the incredible history that lives there. Walking into Independence Hall, you can feel the history that was created there. There is something so special about being in the place where the founding documents of the United States were created!
I’ve been on the History and Political Science Major’s dream vacation in Washington D.C. this week, touring both the US Capitol and the Supreme Court, as well as many other major D.C landmarks. It’s been beyond amazing- and more to come!
As election season is starting to ramp up again, it’s the perfect moment to highlight the amazing US Political Science classes and books I read! These books come from six different and unique classes. I especially enjoyed learning about the evolution of US politics over time!
A tale of European History, from the four classes I took with Trinity University’s history department: Early Modern Europe, Modern Europe, World War II, and European Frontiers: 1848-Present. I took one of these classes each of my four years at Trinity, and loved them all!
With Trinity University’s new semester starting, I wanted to take a look back at some of the amazing books I read during my four years there!! I’m starting with the books I read my freshmen year in HUMA: Great Books of the Ancient World! So many classics with so many lessons. 📚
I was just rereading my copy of the 2021-22 Trinity Review, and wanted to share it here with everyone! My short story and a couple of poems are published both in the print version and online at https://t.co/Xlp2jrXux4 💚
Highlighting my beautiful and extensive poetry collection! I love how poetry tells stories in such a beautiful and different way. Taking poetry writing at Trinity University was one of my favorite classes! I just love poetry, and all my books 🩵
I’m working on writing every day, and I’m excited to start with this five minute gratitude journal! A great way to start and end the day with some positivity. 💟
Much thanks to the amazing @carolinemwrites for sending me the 2022-23 Trinity Review! I’m so delighted to see the beautiful next edition of our literary magazine and to peruse my incredibly talented friends’ works of writing and art! 📖🩵
In honor of the one year anniversary of my graduation from Trinity University! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science and a minor in Creative Writing. It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year! 👩🏼🎓🎓
A very belated post from going to see @AndrewPorter01’s book reading event at @BrazosBookstore at the end of April! So great to be surrounded by books and friends, new and old!
