I was a tourist in Colombia,I came all the way from India.

The fare was $5200 I gave a note of $50000 to the driver as i didn't have change,the driver said he'll come and give back the change in 5 minutes and fled away with the money.

ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಭ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರತಕ್ಕಂತಹ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವಾಗಲಿ, ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮುಂದಿನ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮನದಟ್ಟಾಗಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಕೋರಿಕೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸಲ್ಲೂ ಬೆಳೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮನ ಕಗ್ಗವಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಕುವೆಂಪು, ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅಡಿಗರ ಕವಿತೆ, ಕವನಗಳು, ನವ್ಯಕಾವ್ಯಗಳನೆಲ್ಲ ನಾವು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸ ಬೇಕು.

ಈ ವರ್ಷ ನಾವು ನವ್ಯಕಾವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಪುರಾತನ, ಸರಳ, ಸಹಜ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೊತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸೋಣ.

ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇರತಕ್ಕಂತಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು!
