@Waleed_AlRamahi@kopice86 This was a tough situation and I feel for him, almost scared of how the crowd will react. However, he is the LFC manager and needs to be better & stronger. I can't see how he continues next season without being compromised from the start.
It’s hard, maybe even unfair… but I’m grateful this is happening to me here, among you. I’m not alone. Your strength and your love will be my driving force. See you again soon, Anfield ❤️
Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada spoke about the contradictions of human nature:
“Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one hardly ever use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about their living relatives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have one often don't appreciate it. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the satiated complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.”
The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.
@numberslka The NPP with its mandate, needs to make some meaningful changes that will have a real impact on the economy. This move makes no sense except in being a publicity stunt.
They need to start making some hard decisions and working on the bloated public sector.
@aruni_t I think imposing accurate tariffs on these goods will be difficult due to the huge volume of parcels being imported. A De minimis limit (value under which no duty is applied) should be practiced to ease the load on customs.
@hbytwo The logic should be based on consumption of the vehicle (km/l), that too only if fuel is subsidized. In general value based duty works well for Sri Lanka and the current economic environment.
@David_Blacker@nomad_lk@PickMeLK I have stopped using PickMe because of their horrible cutomer service specially for food order complaints. Nothing short of disgraceful.
@PickMeLK your customer service is extremely disappointing tickets closed without even talking to me, one missed call (because of work) and no resolution
If you keep calling for 'system change,' remember that YOU are the system. Change doesn’t come from waiting for someone else to fix things. It starts when we hold ourselves accountable and become the change we seek.
