@prakdadlani The logistics cost for India now ever since the DFCs became operational has been in the 8-9% mark, no? In fact the latest figure is 7.97 (and non services export at 9.09%). Why do people still quote the historical, older figures when we have new data on the ground?
In a powerful blend of history and modern technology, India’s Chandrayaan-2 orbiter has captured stunning high-resolution images of the Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 landing sites, offering fresh visual proof of humanity’s first steps on the Moon.
The photos show the exact spots where astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and later Pete Conrad and Alan Bean left their footprints, planted flags, and deployed scientific instruments over half a century ago. Now, from a new perspective high above the lunar surface, Chandrayaan-2 has confirmed those locations with crystal clarity, marking a moment of global pride for space enthusiasts everywhere.
This isn’t just about validating history—it’s about how far we’ve come. A country that watched the Moon landings on black-and-white TVs is now photographing the same scenes with its own spacecraft. It’s a poetic milestone for a rising space power, reminding the world that the Moon still holds meaning, mystery, and shared legacy.
India’s achievement not only reinforces its space capabilities—it also bridges generations.
From Apollo to Chandrayaan, the Moon still reflects our story.
I absolutely despise it when Indian things are described using descriptors, persons, and places from the West. That ignorant foreigners do it is bad enough, but it is especially jarring when Indians do it too. No, Udaipur isn't the Venice of the East, Laxmibai isn't the Indian Joan of Arc. Saraghari wasn't the Indian Thermopylae. Etc. etc.
Why do you want to make an Indian thing a lesser, diminutive version of a Western thing, especially as that Western thing isn't even that familiar to you?
And if you aren't from India, learn to learn about new stuff without comparing it to something you know. I didn't learn about Machiavelli and call him the Kautilya of the West. I learnt about him as his own thing.
(On second thoughts, maybe we should start calling him that. And Henry VIII can be the Little Akbar of the West.)
What else can we make X of the West?
Liberal’ ideology is not liberal but it is Authoritarianism…
She pulled one pin, everything fell
Whoever she is , it’s the best 2 and a half minutes I have spent recently
@lifexharsh Well, no. It is not the perfect T-shirt, because it is factually wrong. there is NO national language in India. Read the Indian constitution.
@Sauravsp15@smitaprakash Second Amendment? man, get to know what the first and second amendment say before shooting off something. Second amendment covers your right to bear firearms, first amendment gives you freedom of speech. For US Citizens, let me add.
@PhilipKuriakos4@smitaprakash You do realize this guy is an American citizen residing in the US and so the Government of India can do nothing - it is up to the US govt to act - or not. But hey, let's just blame the Indian government for everything, because that makes feel accomplished. Typical stupid people.
@billmaher@billmaher I agreed with you on everything till you equated India, a vibrant democracy with Russia. Also, yes, people from Bangladesh pay coyotes to break into India. Educate yourself: there’s a peaceful transfer of power in India, a vibrant opposition etc
@DavidFScobie First, as others have pointed out the “aid” is not to the Indian taxpayer, but to NGOs. Second, you fuckers stole trillions of money from us, so if you have any sense of decency you would be handling back all that to us, you stupid fucking cunt. Go bark elsewhere.
Few groups in the world are willing to criticize oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh or elsewhere. This includes Christian, Islamic, leftist, academic, human rights, and media groups in the West, even UN. In India it includes all opposition parties who have long catered to a Muslim votebank over Hindu human rights. If Hindus don't take up the Hindu cause, Hindus attacked outside of India will have little protection.
