Finished my first bioinformatics project
(No day 2, I have adhd)
Now comes the difficult part! Cleaning and organising the code c:
Realised how much more I need to learn and build (*´ω`*)
This is wild.
Claude just found something humans missed.
It spotted a hidden repeat pattern in raw bacteriophage DNA…
…and uncovered a previously unknown enzyme system in bacteriophages with CRISPR-like repeats. 🤯
950 agents. 21 hours. 210M tokens.
not saying AI's computational strength is weak, but there's nothing wild about it. All repeating sequences need not be useful. That's what biology looks for. Not simply a repository of random data.
Day 1 of building my first ever bioinformatics project
super excited q(≧▽≦q)
kinda basic (dont judge ill cry)
also why arent there many project trackers? if they exist theyre super hard to use (should i build one myself?)
