Just finished reading Matt Pocock's TypeScript Essentials. What a gem! ๐ It's free, packed with practical exercises, and perfect for anyone working with TypeScript. Highly recommend!

๐ Built a peer-to-peer video chat app (Litsi Chat) to solve long-distance movie nights for me and my partner!
Why? Existing platforms are slow & invasive. My solution:
Free & Open Source
No data collection

@hellonehha putting topic ideas into a logseq list, then after 6 months or so finally decide to write something ๐ , i normally do a quick first draft where i just focus on getting the core of the topic done, after that i refine it with an editing step, tweak the headings and add pics.
with lucia going away @better_auth might just be the best auth library for JavaScript/TypeScript right now, excited to try it out in my next project, the docs look great.
๐ Just migrated my personal site from Next.js to Astro!
Why Astro?
โข Simplicity first
โข Islands Architecture = ๐ฏ performance
โข Markdown content = full control
โข Perfect Lighthouse scores

Had to work with a library called Amazon Paapi today. It's not even a community library, it's an OFFICIAL amazon library. I wonder if Jeff got divorced because his ex-wife refused to call him amazon paapi
@KevSlashNull@tursodatabase I have more experience with Postgres but I'm seriously considering using SQLite by default for all projects and only opting for Postgres if I really need a specific extension, otherwise the speed and flexibility of SQLite seems like a clear winner.
I've been experimenting with combining @laravelphp and @nuxt_js for my new tech stack and this intro article by @Moose_Said is a great place to start if you want to do the same.
This breeze-nuxt starter kit is also great.

@flaviocopes Probably the best web component UI library right now, I only wish it had a data-table component and maybe some more input components. Also, an easier way to work with SSR frameworks, but that's an issue with all web component libraries.
@sarooooj@foodmandu@NepalPathao It's pretty good. Their live rider location tracking is pretty good, and they manage to always find my location even though it's in a confusing area.
I published a new blog post on my recap of 2023, my plans for 2024 and what I think is the best stack for web developers in 2024.
