CSC Rawalpindi organized @ Salvation army chirch sikandr abad Kotri Hyderabad impactful mentorship program on “Minority Rights & Religious Freedom” 🌍

The program aimed to empower young girls 💪 by raising awareness about education 📚, health 🏥, and employment opportunities 💼. Important discussions were also held on critical issues like child marriage 🚫 and forced religious conversions.

Zarina, a resident of village Alan Hingoro near Dhilyar in Sanghar, has been thrown out of her home by her husband. The woman who sacrificed everything for love is now struggling to find shelter and fighting for her very existence.

My name is Shewa Ram (Shiva Kachhi). I am a Pakistani human rights defender and Chairman of Darawar Itehad Pakistan, a registered organization working for the protection of religious minorities, particularly Sindhi Hindu girls and women.

I am writing to you with deep concern and urgency regarding my personal safety. At present, my life is in serious danger in Pakistan. Extremist elements are openly labeling me as “anti-Islam” and “anti-state” because of my peaceful human rights advocacy. These false allegations have led to repeated death threats, and there is a real and imminent risk that an attempt may be made on my life.

I would like to remind you that in 2023, I visited the United States under the International Exchange / IELP Program, during which I also had the honor of meeting representatives at the U.S. Department of State. During my visit, I raised concerns regarding forced religious conversions, abductions of minor Hindu girls, and other grave human rights violations occurring in Sindh, Pakistan.

Since then, the situation has worsened. Instead of being protected, I am being targeted for speaking the truth. The threats against me are not only verbal; they are systematic and dangerous, and Pakistan has a tragic history of human rights defenders being killed after similar smear campaigns.

I humbly request the U.S. Department of State to kindly raise my case with the Government of Pakistan and urge them to ensure my immediate protection and safety. Your intervention could play a crucial role in preventing irreversible harm and saving my life.

I remain committed to peaceful advocacy, human dignity, and universal human rights. I sincerely hope the United States, as a global advocate for human rights, will not let my voice be silenced through violence.

ایس ایس پی قمر رضا جسکانی انہی باوقار اور انسان دوست افسران میں سے ایک ہیں۔

معصوم ہندو نوجوان کیلاش کولھی کے بہیمانہ قتل کے بعد، جب متاثرہ خاندان غم، خوف اور مایوسی میں ڈوبا ہوا تھا، ��س وقت ایس ایس پی قمر رضا جسکانی نے صرف ایک پولیس افسر نہیں بلکہ ایک ذمہ دار انسان کا کردار ادا کیا۔
انہوں نے کیس کو ذاتی ذمہ داری سمجھتے ہوئے مسلسل نگرانی، مؤثر حکمتِ عملی اور انتھک محنت کے ذریعے قاتل سرفراز نظامانی کو گرفتار کروا کر قانون کے کٹہرے میں کھڑا کیا۔

یہ گرفتاری صرف ایک ملزم کی نہیں، بلکہ یہ پیغام ہے کہ
قانون سب کے لیے برابر ہے، چاہے مقتول اقلیت سے ہو یا قاتل کتنا ہی بااثر کیوں نہ ہو۔

ایس ایس پی قمر رضا جسکانی نے یہ ثابت کر دیا کہ اگر نیت صاف ہو تو پولیس عوام کے لیے خوف نہیں بلکہ امید بن سکتی ہے۔
کیلاش کولھی کے خون سے انصاف کی یہ پہلی مضبوط کوشش ہے، جس نے سندھ کی مظلوم اقلیتوں کے دلوں میں اعتماد پیدا کیا ہے۔

ہم ایسے افسران کو سلام پيش کرتے ہیں جو وردی میں انسانیت پہنتے ہیں۔
سندھ کو ایس ایس پی قمر رضا جسکانی جیسے ایماندار، بہادر اور انسان دوست افسران پر فخر ہے۔

Despite open death threats and fatwa-style calls for my killing by the religious extremist group Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (Serhindi Group), there has been complete silence and inaction from the Federal Government of Pakistan, the Sindh Government, and the Sindh Police.

This is not just negligence — it is state failure and criminal complicity.

I am a peaceful human rights defender and minority rights activist. My only “crime” is speaking against religious extremism, forced conversions, and injustice.
If extremists can openly issue murder threats while the state looks away, then no citizen in Pakistan is safe.

I urgently call upon the international community to take notice and intervene before irreversible harm occurs.
