Ss sharing questions and celebrating discoveries w/ eachother were sweet moments in today's learning! @njkrueger@ksuarez28@NISDScience
3rd grade Ts know how to make a fellow T feel 💓! Was teasing with @njkrueger my "demands" before coming to her school w/ our pilot @NISDOLC mobile visits. This and friendly faces is what welcomed me before our learning! I even shared some fruit w/ the 🪱. 😆 TY Nancy @JustinJags
Hey @NorthwestISD Ts! We have some awesome summer PD available w/ @OutdoorAmy!💚Our zoo PD, a night hike, Project WILD and an Engage session for disciplinary literacy & SEL. You know you want to register in Edugence today! Oh! @ksuarez28 will be at our night hike!🙌@NISDScience
@ksuarez28@OutdoorAmy I'm going to have to start charting the amazing Qs student ask! You know how I love to research for answers! Wish you could have stayed longer with us today!
Our @JCTElementary 2nd graders think worms are a bit more interesting thanks to the cool tool the hand lens! We heard Ss talking like scientist, thinking like scientist and being scientist as they observed worms today! @NISDScience@LAERomer@ksuarez28@OutdoorAmy
Needed a tool to catch come some beetles and true bugs, but couldn't find one. Thanks to this @Whataburger cup for helping me out! Could you say "whatacup"? 😆 Now our Ss will have some insects to observe (and then release.) 🔍🐞🪲📓 @OutdoorAmy@NISDScience
"Come here, come here butterflies!"
@RoanokeRangers Kinder did their best through running (and sneaking) to catch a 🦋 and observe closely. Some were successful! Most were considerate to include their classmates in their discovery.😁 Thanks for exploring with us!! @KristiKing11
We investigated part of @Hatfieldcougars schoolyard with PreK to observe and ask Qs about insects! We even found an itsy bitsy spider attempting to go up the water spout! 🔎🦋🐞🐝🕷🪳🔍 #NISDoutside
One way to tell you've been at the OLC is muddy shoes! We encourage Ss to wear shoes they can get dirty AND to be aware of where they are stepping... 😬 bet seeing those fossils(or sedimentation) was worth it @PrairieViewES 5th! @MsAtianaWaters @MsBecan @OutdoorAmy#NISDoutside
