We enjoyed the “Cat Cafe” hosted by @NorthMesquiteHS’s BBQ Team and Vet Program earlier this month! Students and their families met two of our pet reptiles. There were cute animals to pet. Best of all - some animals were adopted!

Young ornithologists from @DanDRogersDISD discovered the fascinating adaptations of birds and explored the important role of birds in an ecosystem. Students examined beaks, feet, and feathers for clues to each bird’s particular niche and behavior. @StellaKastl@AngieGaylord
5th graders from @LDZEagles discovered how sedimentary rocks form. Young geologists explored the processes of deposition, compaction, and cementation that create sedimentary rock.
