why abstract?
when i first created the @godthedogabs ip, it wasn’t meant to be tokenized but something to help me as a parent in teaching my kids the importance of resilience and self confidence.
but seeing the strength of the community, the vision of being web2/consumer friendly and the pedigree of @LucaNetz and the @pudgypenguins ip backing it - tokenizing it made sense to reach more people and build something special.
nothing has changed for me. The foundations for the ip have been laid. The goal is to be the shining success on @AbstractChain that makes people want to launch new ips or tokenize existing web2 ips on the green chain.
the mission continues.
nevr giv up.
this is a good post that sums up the current memecoin market. sol memes have an avg 3min hold time, kols are bull posting while dumping on your head, devs are rugging every few minutes. not everyone has the time to trench, some just wanna hold and believe again but have no faith to do so rn.
when I first created @godthedogabs it was for my kids to teach them resilience and the power of believing in themselves but I realised this is just as applicable to all of us in crypto who went against the grain and jumped into the wild world of web3 and believed in magic internet money when everyone else mocked us.
building an IP in this space is not easy, especially something that is family friendly with a strong wholesome message behind it.
maybe im delusional but I believe not every here is looking for the next deranged/offensive meme of the day. I think there are others just like me that want to back a meme/brand/mission and believe in something again.
imo the only way we get back to what made this space great again is more of us rallying behind the coins that are here for the long run, one believer at a time. cause if 1 of us wins, we all win.
i don’t know if thats god but all I know is that I’ll do my part and never give up.
I wasn’t talking about $GOD specifically, I’m talking in general.
99% of memecoins get rugged or bleed to zero. They’re total bullshit and have zero chance of capturing the general public like me. I work full time, you think i’m going to invest money in something that’s not yet proven in a space with crypto hyenas that watch charts all day? That’s why crypto is what it is, many traders few investors.
When you launch a new coin, the first audience is the crypto bros, those that only do crypto all day, and they take profit fast and move to another. People like me don’t have time to discover every new launched coin, i look at a chart, it looks like crap, don’t know nothing about the project, i move on. Probably lots of good projects went dark because of these piranhas in the crypto space. The issue is not Abstract, the issue is the fauna that is found in crypto.
I will consider buying some $GOD. Peace 🕊️
