just heard someone said, “why relinquish something noble when death is inevitable anyway?”
which reminds me of all these messages i came across the past year; to live with a sense of urgency & focus on the (true) essentials.

We are outraged. An Indonesian peacekeeper is murdered. Another is fighting for his life. Israel bombed the base where they served.
This is clearly not an accident, nor a collateral damage. This is Netanyahu’s regime showing, once again, that they don’t care about international law, about UN personnel, and about the lives of those who dedicate themselves to peace.
Indonesia has gone above and beyond. We have sent over 1,200 of our troops to serve under the UN flag. The Indonesian government also joined the Board of Peace to push for a just and lasting resolution in the Middle East. We extended our hand in good faith. Yet the answer to that good faith is a bomb dropped on our soldiers’ base. They spat on every effort Indonesia has made for peace.
But let us be honest, this is not surprising. Netanyahu’s regime has shown time and again that they are indifferent to the world’s calls for restraint. They ignore UN resolutions. They strike UN facilities. They kill civilians, journalists, aid workers, and now peacekeepers. No one is off-limits. No one is safe. Sadly, it keeps going because the world keeps allowing it.
To the UN Secretary-General, we appreciate your condemnation and your condolences. But words are not enough anymore. The UN must move beyond statements. Concrete, enforceable, and urgent action is what this moment demands. The credibility of the UN is on the line. If the world body cannot protect its own peacekeepers, what exactly is it protecting?
To the nations of the world, now is the time to act together. Push for accountability. Refer those responsible to international courts. Enforce the rules that you all signed up to uphold. International law is only as strong as the willingness of nations to defend it. That willingness has been tested over and over again by Netanyahu’s regime. For countless of times, the world has failed the test.
Do not let this death be forgotten in a news cycle. Do not let this become just another statistic in a long list of violations. Demand justice. Demand accountability. Make clear that those who attack UN peacekeepers will face real consequences.

Never feel that the Almighty has abandoned you & you’re alone. He has not. You may be the one crying at night, smiling in the day to hide your pain, feeling lost, confused or frustrated but never doubt that He knows what you’re going through. Always!
Almighty. There’s so much going on in our lives that we feel broken in spirit. We ask You to calm our inner turmoil. Guide us and grant us strength to face whatever lies ahead. Aameen.
If you’re going through some difficult times all by yourself, don’t despair. The Almighty has designed it that way to allow you to embrace your solitude. There is much to learn and grow from it. Keep going. Don’t give up. He’s watching over you as He always does. Have faith.
Almighty. There are many questions in our heads. We hand over everything that we can’t control to You, knowing that You’re the Best of Planners. Ease our worries so that it doesn’t rob us of our peace. Help us to focus on things that truly matter for the best outcome. Aameen.
Not everything that is said against you deserves a response. Especially if something is said without much thought or knowing the circumstances. Choosing to remain silent is best sometimes. Do not give value to those who have no value.
The struggles and pain will end. The tears will stop flowing. The doors you’ve been knocking on will open. Have beautiful patience. Trust the Almighty.
You will feel frustrated. You will feel like everything is crumbling right before your eyes. You will feel that you can’t handle things on your own. You’re not supposed to. The Almighty loves it when you ask Him. Ask with conviction. He will lift your load.
There will be times when nothing you do can change the circumstances. Accept it. It’s the Almighty’s way of telling you to rely on Him. Be at ease with His Decree and trust Him.
The Almighty knows you’re drained. Physically and emotionally. He knows what you’re going through. But you need to keep going. Giving up is never an option. You’re going to make it. Think positive thoughts and He will help you fight and win your battles.
Almighty. Heal the broken heart. The ones who put up a brave front and cannot express their pain. The ones who are tired of being oppressed and tormented. The ones who need a break. Put an end to their sadness and let peace reign in their hearts. Aameen.
There's no life without trials. There’s no success without patience. So the harder your test, the more hopeful you should be that the Almighty's help is near.
Almighty. I trust You through my pain, my suffering, my heartache, my sadness, my confusion, my heedlessness. I know Your Mercy overpowers Your Wrath. That’s why I never lose hope, despite my sins and my transgressions, I trust You. I thank You for everything.
Almighty. Forgive us for the times we were quick to become discouraged or depressed; thinking there was no way out when facing a problem. We forget how You’ve never let us down. No matter what comes our way, we’ll put our trust in You. You’re All Able and Capable.
