@blitzkreigm A week ago I booked my flight from T1 on 30Oct. Goes to show how unplanned and rushed shutting down T1 has been. Why allow flights to sell tickets? Can you give them atleast 3 month notice? You are not running lemonade stand @IATA@IndiGo6E@MoCA_GoI@DGCAIndia@AAI_Official
@WeekendInvestng I agree @Ashneer_Grover. UPI is financial infrastructure which is important to reduce cash usage (incl. cost of printing currency). Charging this fee is like charging toll on all roads longer than 1 km! no one really makes money, its a hassle, and short streets get overcrowded!
Good news โ cheap stock, either. #Marico just posted a strong quarter but is still one of the priciest FMCG names out there. A great earnings from an already-rich stock is a fragile setup, whichever market cap it sits in.
None of this means "move to cash". Rebalancing back to out-of-favor, dividend-cushioned largecaps (banks, IT, PSU utilities) over smallcap and midcap looks more sensible.
The structural risk: stocks with F&O can be shorted when they get hot โ a real market check on price vs. fundamentals. Most smallcaps have no derivatives market, so the only correction mechanism is an eventual buyers' strike or an earnings miss. That tends to arrive abruptly.
The valuation gap is stark. Nifty50 trades near 10-yr average P/E (~21x). Nifty Midcap 100 is ~28x โ a 26-30% premium to its own history. Smallcaps are running ~50% above theirs. And still, ~73% of Nifty 500 stocks sit >10% below their highs. The rally is narrower than it looks
The flow story explains a lot: FIIs pulled ~$21bn out in 2026, and that selling lands almost entirely on large, liquid names because of their mandates. Meanwhile record DII/SIP flows keep chasing mid/smallcap schemes โ a price-insensitive bid, regardless of valuation.
Something odd has been playing out in Indian equities for 5 months: FII-owned largecaps are down, while mid/smallcaps driven by retail SIP flows keep grinding higher. Worth understanding why before you chase either side. ๐งต
@NewsFromGoogle@Android You have ruined a beautiful โless is moreโ design. You have added so much garbage on the screen, which not only increases loading time but also is USELESS. I will need to find an alternative now. Any suggestions?
SpaceX IPO, listing, and beyond, is a true test for capitalism. The valuation does not fit any traditional matrix and is a huge bet on the future course of planet earth. Only time will tell whether we, the human race, have arrived into the fairy tale world we grew up in as children, or are in a mega bubble. Either ways, kudos to the man who came as an immigrant, and to the country that has allowed such boundless creativity to flourish despite all the risks it embeds.
@ActusDei Commodities you use everyday are global - Petrol, diesel, mtals, plastics, gold, silver. โน has depreciated against the $ in an inflationary world. So what costed $100 ten years ago, costs $200 today. โน5000 was $100 ten years ago .. and today it takes โน20,000 for $200. Cheers!
@EconomicTimes They can keep changing the rules, but what about their website which is down 80% of the time? Who is responsible for such ground breaking technology?
Cannot even the the traffic lights. At the junction of Shraddhanand Road and Nehru road Vile Parle East. If you cannot enforce removal of hoardings, then atleast make the signal pole higher for the safety of people ๐
