Kuldeep has to always play, and especially when Bumrah is not there. Genuine wicket takers are needed when this is your 6,7,8. Batting length as well as wicket taking ability when you count in Siraj/Prasidh as your second pacer. Axar, Rana and HP to complete the other 20 overs.

If Hardik is not there, Reddy (when fit) has to be India’s no 6, with Axar and Rana following him. For all his faults, Rana is the one true find from GG. Decent for a no.8 and a good fifth bowler. Once HP is back, that looks a decent lower order. 6 bowling options too.
