iOS 27 just updated CarPlay in your car. You probably didn't notice.
You plugged your phone in. Maps looked the same. Spotify looked the same. You drove to work and back. Same routine. Same 3 apps. Same CarPlay you've been running since 2020.
Meanwhile, Apple quietly shipped the biggest CarPlay update in years and you missed all of it.
A tech journalist who reviews in-car technology spent 3 months beta-testing iOS 27 CarPlay. He told me:
"Siri AI now works in your car. Not the old Siri that misheard every third word and gave you a web search. A new Siri that has real conversations, remembers what you said on your morning commute, and picks up the conversation on your phone when you walk inside."
"You can now watch video on your CarPlay screen when you're parked. Apple TV, YouTube, and streaming apps play directly on your car's display."
"There's a mini-player that keeps music controls visible no matter what screen you're on so you stop switching between Maps and Spotify 15 times per drive."
"And there are third-party widgets, new wallpapers, audio scrubbing, voice control for any app, and navigation improvements that make Apple Maps genuinely competitive with Google Maps."
"All of it landed silently. No notification. No tutorial. No pop-up. Apple updated your car and didn't tell you."
Here are 10 things that just changed in your car that most CarPlay users don't know happened:
It's four pieces of engineering.
The protein is ultrafiltered skim milk, which is milk pushed through a membrane that holds back the protein and strains out water and lactose. That's where 30g comes from and why the sugar is under a gram. Then lactase enzyme breaks down whatever lactose is left, which is why it's lactose free.
The part you're actually tasting is the second line, modified plant fat, EPG. EPG is newer on the market and not widely utilized. It's a fat molecule built so your body mostly doesn't absorb it. It coats your mouth like fat and carries flavor like fat and then leaves without the calories. That's the answer to how it's rich at 150 calories. Sucralose and acesulfame potassium do the sweet, Dutch cocoa does the chocolate, and four different gums do the thickness.
