While the whole country is debating petrol-ethanol, the bros from Madhya Pradesh have already pulled off what is arguably India's first major ethanol scam, not counting you know who.

There is a govt policy that surplus rice in govt warehouses can be sold to ethanol manufacturers at subsidised rates to prevent it from rotting.

According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, the scam began when some officials allegedly (willingly?) ignored the rules and allocated "newly procured" fortified rice (not even regular rice, but fortified rice) for ethanol production. The rice, bought at a high price (₹4,000 per quintal), was sold at a throwaway price (₹2,320 per quintal) to ethanol plants.

The ethanol plant operators allegedly knew it was fortified rice, so instead of using it to make ethanol, they sold it to rice millers at ₹2,800 per quintal, and instead bought cheap broken rice (₹2,100 per quintal) from the open market for ethanol production, making an overall profit of ₹700 per quintal.

The rice millers allegedly repacked the fortified rice in new gunny bags and supplied it back to the govt as freshly milled rice. The govt paid them milling charges, while the govt supplied paddy they were actually supposed to mill was allegedly sold in the open market for another round of profit.

So the same bag of rice allegedly kept changing hands: govt warehouse to ethanol plant to rice mill to back to govt warehouse. Everyone in the chain allegedly made money.

The MP govt formed an SIT. So far, four people have been arrested and 12 trucks seized. Investigators suspect that up to 50 lakh quintals of govt rice, worth around ₹1,160 crore, may have been diverted through this alleged racket.

There are some diehard Trump fans in this country who thought India could still kiss and make up with America even after all that it did to us. We had invested 1 bn $ for a 100 Tejas GE -404 engines. Vehicle buyers pay huge upfront taxes, fees, and cesses. In return, they deserve the basic right to buy the exact fuel their vehicle engines were designed to run on.

If the govt wanted to "experiment" with E20 fuel, they should have done it responsibly by either buying a sample fleet of second-hand cars to test in a controlled settings or invite willing citizens to opt-in using subsidized fuel.

Forcing a mandatory policy onto everyone first and checking if it damages their engines later is outrageous. Treating the entire public as involuntary test subjects is a massive overreach.

Ethanol is highly hygroscopic, it loves water. Once the water tolerance limit is crossed (often around 0.5% by volume depending on temperature & blend percentage, Ethanol pulls away from the petrol & forms two distinct layers: an ethanol-water mix at the bottom and petrol on top. This leads to: Poor starting, jerks, knocking & stalling while driving &
potential corrosion and engine issues (especially in older or non-compatible vehicles).

But contractors pay netas their cut money & encroachers who cause traffic jams are vote banks of netas. We are told ethanol is “good for the environment” but to produce 1 litre of ethanol it takes 2500-3500 litres of water at sugar mills or above 10,000 litres per litre at rice mills! This when the country is facing water shortage. How is this good for anyone except the netas? Most ethanol distilleries are owned by netas, for example Nitin Gadkari ji’s son! And please tell me how is Gadkari ji announcing ethanol policy when he is neither the Petroleum Minister, nor Agriculture Minister, nor Industry Minister? We the people pay full price for our vehicles + road tax + insurance + tolls + GST on spares… and in return we get pathetic roads, terrible infrastructure & now forced ethanol-blended fuel that kills mileage & damages engines. Most Indian vehicles aren’t even E20 compatible ..yet Nitin Gadkari ji is forcing 100% ethanol norms on us!

We the people pay full price for our vehicles + we pay road taxes, insurance, tolls, GST on vehicles, parking, GST on spares, basically or lot of money for everything that one can think of! And yet in return we get Pathetic roads, mostly terrible infrastructure, traffic jams and now fuel that destroys the engines and kills mileage of our vehicles!

Meanwhile we all know that most sugar mills owned by netas & their families and it is their linked companies that are minting crores from ethanol distilleries.

Let's cut out the BS, this is a straight-up Ethanol Scam! And while we INDIANs have to pay a price & yet suffer, these netas profit and make money! Also say if one wants non blended fuel instead of this nonsensical E-20, E-30 or E-100 why can't we be given that?

A decorative outline doesn't do that. A map does.

The oldest known map is supposed to be Çatalhöyük, ~6,200 BCE. This predates it by 6,000 years.

This is the condition of the Punjab mansion of Hindu businessman Todar Mal who paid 7,800 gold coins and bought 4 yards of land from the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb to bury the bodies of the 2 young sons and mother of Guru Gobind Singh on December 13, 1705.

The Mughal faujdar Wazir Khan had ordered the two young children be bricked alive as they refused to accept Islam. When they died, their grandmother died of shock

The Mughals did not want to allow the cremation to humiliate the martyrs. They stipulated that the buyer can take only as much space as he could cover with give gold coins for the land. All the Sikh chiefs just stood helplessly

That's when Todar Mal produced the coins and bought the piece of land, and cremated the three bodies.

This is biggest irony of life, India is only country where its true heritage is hidden from next generation and falsehood Is taught.
