🚨 This is what we hope Andoni Iraola's Liverpool side will feel like ⬇️
🗣️ Pep Guardiola on Liverpool: "The quality of opponent we faced in Liverpool... it was a nightmare. Every time, it was a nightmare."
🗣️ Noel Gallagher: "Those three years are what I think defines these last 10 years.
"To win this amount of trophies, and a third of them were won against that team. That team, whenever they got the ball, you were in trouble, constantly in trouble."

🚨💣 BREAKING !
The club does realise Ekitike won’t return from injury till February absolute best case scenario don’t they?
Isak suffers many small muscle injury problems and his fitness is not to be relied on.
We’re going to need a striker and I don’t see ANY movement
Has @Carra23@JamesPearceLFC & co come out to apologise to @MoSalah & actually thank him for calling Slot out for what he was?
The stories we now hear show Salah fought for the club to be in a good place when he left.

Possible €130M price tag as per RMC Sport for Barcola isn’t worth it. I like him a lot but not that much. Let’s look at alternate options. Would rather have 2 wingers who cost that together than 1 player
Harvey:
What do we do with this Elliott under Iraola now?
Slot clearly didn’t rate him, but Klopp clearly did. I know which one of those two I’d trust more.
Is it time for him to move on and establish himself as a starter in a weaker midfield? And for us to cash in on him?
Or he is exactly the type of strength in depth we’ve been lacking, capable of giving valuable cover at RW & CM? Say what you want about him but he’s always brought intensity, passion, and plays for the badge. Things that no other players seemed to show this season.
Iraola saying he’s going to look at the younger players in the squad before the senior players return from the World Cup.
Also saying he is looking forward to working with players who were on loan too.
He’s saying everything fans want to hear.
Liverpool’s centre-back planning looks questionable in hindsight. In January, the club reportedly chose not to meet a £20m valuation for Marc Guehi, opting against strengthening at that point. Fast forward a few months, and they’ve since seen Ibrahima Konate leave in the summer, creating an even bigger gap in the defensive unit.
Now, instead of addressing the situation early and at a relatively modest cost, they’re likely to be forced into the market again for a replacement this time in the £60–70m range for a top-level centre-back.
When you step back and look at the overall picture, it raises a simple question of squad planning. For roughly the same total investment, Liverpool could have secured both Guehi and retained Konate, ensuring depth, continuity, and stability in a key area of the pitch heading into next season.
Instead, the decision-making sequence has potentially turned a manageable, cost-effective reinforcement into a far more expensive rebuild. That’s where the criticism of long-term planning starts to make sense.
Liverpool need to rethink their executive approach to running the club. What made them so successful under Jurgen Klopp was that he was the manager, not the head coach.
I expect that if Iraola (or whoever for that matter) comes in as head coach, many of the same issues will creep back in.
At the end of the day, Slot was FSG's yes man and this looks to me like making him the fall guy. Where is the accountability for Hughes for the poorly constructed rebuild that cost £460m only to leave several key profiles missing? Edwards spent much of the last 18 months planning a multi-club model that was then scrapped. Is he now focusing on LFC or working on another FSG blueprint for something without direct benefits for this club?
Yes, Slot was out of his depth and his philosophy just doesn't align with what the fanbase wants on the football pitch. However, will appointing another head coach come with different results in the long term if the executives he must answer to aren't exactly covering themselves in glory?
I'm not sure.
Reminder: don’t rely on this guys news. Clueless. Slot sacked literally a week a half after the said below. He said the same about Rodgers and he got sacked 2 weeks after 😂
