Naveen Patnaik Demands Strict Action on Kalyansingpur Assault, Criticises "Vikas ra Dhara" Claim

BJD President and Leader of Opposition @Naveen_Odisha on Saturday strongly condemned the brutal assault on a Delhi girl student in Kalyansingpur, Rayagada.

In a sharp statement, Shri Patnaik said the barbaric incident has shocked and shamed the entire state. He expressed deep sympathy to the victim and criticised the government for its "helplessness" and "indifference".

Naveen Patnaik questioned why the image of #Odisha is being tarnished and asked if the government has failed in its basic duty to ensure women's safety and law and order.

Sri Patnaik urged immediate strict action and asked with what face the government is promoting "Vikas ra Dhara, Odisha Sara" amid rising atrocities against women.
