If I don’t see it,
it is not my problem.
And if I see it,
I wonder if it’s my problem.
And if it is my problem,
I wonder who will solve it.
And all the while,
I forget to wonder:
If I didn’t bother with problems of others,
would anyone bother with mine?

79 years ago, representatives from 50 nations signed the UN Charter, establishing a cornerstone for global cooperation and peace.
This historic document remains as pivotal today as it was when it came into force on October 24 1945.
