A beautiful image from the archives this #Matariki: a lino block print from 1990 by Gabrielle Belz and Deirdre Te Maari Gardiner. It illustrated the month of June in ‘Nga Marama o te Tau’, a 1990 Māori calendar by Te Puna Publications.

@FoxyLustyGrover I also batch cook casseroles or mince and freeze in meal portions. That way I can defrost, add flavors and veges and serve up over pasta, rice, corn chips, whatever. Great for a busy night and the kids love leftovers for breakfast.
@FoxyLustyGrover We have a couple of vege meals a week - tofu, paneer or chickpea curry or stirfry, pasta, vege burgers (kids love those). Then it's a couple each of meat and chicken. I do change it up but mainly because I want to practice a new recipe ideas or skills.
