The assault and humiliation of a Muslim man in Barabanki, including forcing him to perform religious acts against his will, is deeply disturbing. Such acts are not expressions of faith but crimes that violate human dignity and the Constitution.

According to the Indian Express report, portable X-ray machines were billed at Rs 33 lakh, which cost Rs 10 lakh in the market.

Hospital sheets and even ORS sachets were billed at 3 to 6 times more than the actual cost.

Three people have been arrested, including former director of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) of the Delhi government.

This is our money being siphoned off.

The loot of Ram Mandir funds has deeply hurt the faith of Hindus across the country. But what adds insult to this injury is the RSS's sudden outrage over the alleged theft of Ram Mandir donations.

The truth is that if the RSS were sincerely committed to safeguarding devotees' donations, embezzlement on such a scale would never have taken place at a temple that is directly under its own watch.

This is the real face of the RSS: Piety is a performance; plunder is the profession.

A California professor who was fired from her tenured position at a state university due to her on-campus pro-Palestinian activism will now get her job back after an arbitrator ruled her termination was excessive.

Sang Hea Kil, a tenured professor in the justice studies department at San Jose State University (SJSU), was fired in November over alleged policy violations pertaining to her attendance of three pro-Palestine protests on campus in 2024, one of which was the university’s Gaza solidarity encampment.

Kil was also the faculty adviser for Students for Justice in Palestine’s SJSU chapter and was co-chair of the Palestine, Arab and Muslim Caucus of the California State University faculty union.

Kil’s termination last November came after a months-long investigation that began in February 2024, followed by a year-long suspension. She became the first tenured faculty member of a public university to lose her job in connection with pro-Palestinian advocacy, according to the American Association of University Professors.

However, a third-party arbitrator has now found that California State University’s (CSU) dismissal was “excessive and disproportionate”. The arbitrator added that CSU could not prove that Kil was failing or refusing to perform her job duties as a professor.

She will now be returning to her post, with full backpay included. ❤️
