@weirdo__ripper Literally the exact same here lol, and I still do believe in him, but we have a logjam at RHD and I think Sunny can get someone good with the picks
@Kreider4Hart_@taterangers I like the move but I don’t think I saw a single person call him a genius lol. At the end of the day he’s just offer sheeting cause they backed out of a trade
@IHaveAMembouner@GianniNJD I really liked Brown there at the end of last season, his numbers exploded in March when moving to that line. If we don’t trade for a top 6 winger I hope we see those 3 together at the start
@Ryzxon Seen that too, wondering if that means Shane Wright as he’s very similar to Hayton or if he has something else cooking
I feel like even if we don’t get Hayton, our bottom 6 is still a lot bet better than last season, but we still need a top 6 winger
@GianniNJD I think so too, I think if they sat him and down and gave him a grinds style to play and mold him into a 3rd liner he could be great. I feel like he still tries to play like an elite 1st round talent thinking he needs to tuck 30 to have a good season
@mitchmitch202@PuckReportNHL Nah valid points 100%, tbh I’m just in the mindset of trying to get guys signed as long as possible when paying off potential, cause more often than not it pays off
@GianniNJD Tbh I don’t either, but at the same time I don’t see where we get rid of him unless it’s in a package for someone like Marchenko or Debrincat. I don’t see Sunny dumping him for picks and he’s still RFA after this season
@mitchmitch202@PuckReportNHL For sure it’s definitely more risky, would just be really unfortunate for them if in 2-3 years he breaks out into an elite defenseman, and they only get to enjoy it for a few seasons. Bridge might’ve been the way to go here and if he pans out, you prob get him for 9-10M but 7yr
