Warsh on monetarism:
"Money matters. It’s not fashionable these days, but my view is that money has something important to do with monetary policy. We should pay attention to money created by the central bank and money that comes from the banking and financial systems. It’s true that financial innovations and other factors alter the mechanics that link the monetary base, the velocity of money, and the broader economy. But that is scarcely a reason to ignore the ultimate effects of money on financial conditions and prices."
@pmahoney2@Stockguru8@stockgutter $AZ I thought yesterday's call was clear evidence that this is a horrible short, and so I bought more. With fresh eyes, how can one dispute they're not gaining customer acceptance? Fully financed and co only needs a few thousand carts in the wild to generate tremendous EBITDA.
They'll cut the retailers in. I've used Caper extensively and talk with users weekly. I believe it's dead on arrival given how inflexible everything is from the retailer's perspective (no cart choice) and how cumbersome charging is. Wait until a 107lb Caper cart tears an 80 year old's ACL from rolling into her leg at almost no speed.
@CapitalFang yeah pretty interesting stuff re: $GENK. But isn't pushing $100 of gift cards at Costco for $80 a cheaper form of capital than a Roth ATM? 🤣
@given2tweet At a certain speed on my under desk treadmill, I generate a lot of static electricity. At that speed, nearly every time my wrists or fingers touch my MacBook near the trackpad, I feel a little mini shock. So I now ground myself.
