I know the attention you’re getting is unprecedented, you hope it will bring traffic to your business, and finally see yourself on a billboard. I’m very, very happy for you. Mnajua Ankoo just wants the best for everyone here, right?

So, when the media is calling you incessantly, don’t be too available to them! Limit your exposure. Stop sharing everything about yourself with the rest of the world. Your finances. Your love life. Protect your spouse and children, please.

I’ve been a journalist for SIX years, given a couple of interviews over the years, but there are things about me that the world will never, ever, know. To me, everyone is on a need-to-know basis. Period!

Last time I gave a TV interview was around 2020. Even if Sitsen & the rest keep calling, I’m not giving an interview until I’m ready. Actually, I tell them to go interview other budding farmers and stop focusing on us old farmers.

Familiarity breeds contempt. You can be in the public limelight but still maintain a private life.
