What School Shooters Have in Common: “We interviewed several young people who planned to do a school shooting, but changed their minds at the last minute. In every case, this was because an adult reached out and made a connection that gave them hope.“

As an educator, I can promise you that although I did not take an oath to protect and serve, I would (and will) absolutely lay my life on the line for your child. #prolife#EndGunViolence#THENDOSOMETHING
@KamalaHarris help us #extend the temporary student loan payment suspension: 1) none of the conditions that triggered the waiver have changed, 2) none of the student loans programs have been permanently improved (including #PSLF), 3) new rules haven’t been approved yet!
@SecRaimondo help us #advocate to extend the temporary student loan payment suspension: 1) none of the conditions that triggered the waiver have changed, 2) none of the student loans programs have been permanently improved (including #PSLF), 3) new rules haven’t been approved yet
@usedgov Extend the temporary student loan payment suspension #NOW: 1) none of the conditions that triggered the waiver have changed, 2) none of the student loans programs have been permanently improved (including #PSLF), 3) new rules haven’t been approved yet. #StudentDebt#help
@SecCardona Extend the temporary student loan payment suspension #NOW: 1) none of the conditions that triggered the waiver have changed, 2) none of the student loans programs have been permanently improved (including #PSLF), 3) new rules haven’t been approved yet! #helpus
@POTUS Extend the temporary student loan payment suspension #NOW: 1) none of the conditions that triggered the waiver have changed, 2) none of the student loans programs have been permanently improved (including #PSLF), 3) new rules haven’t been approved yet. We are watching you!
Today would be a great day for @POTUS to cancel at least $50,000 of student loan debt per borrower.
He can and must — BEFORE payments restart in 42 days.
@Sen_JoeManchin your ego is getting in the way of millions of families in need—including your constituents! Support BBB and vote to provide real support for American citizens. #BBB#BuildBackBetter#ChildTaxCredit
@SecCardona This is one step of reform but so much more needs to be done! I am one of millions who was misled into forbearance instead of IBR—now years and years of my 10+ years of public service “don’t count”. Forgive debt based on years of service not years of payment!
@MarkWarner how are you helping the student loan crisis? Student loan payments should continue to be suspended until the DOE gets PSLF all sorted out. Ever spent 2+ hours on hold with these companies? It’s not just loan payments that are hurting us here.
@timkaine How are you helping the millions of Americans (including myself!) who are saddled with student loan debt? I have served as a public educator for over 10 years and was misled into forbearance by loan servicers. PSLF should be about years of service, not payments.
@RobWittman I’m among millions of Americans shouldering student loan debt who have served the public for over a decade. PSLF reform is too little, too late and loan payments should continue to be suspended until the DOE has sorted this out. Your constituents are watching!
@usedgov I have done over 10 years of public service and very few of my payments “count” despite the years I’ve put in. The program has been misleading and forgiveness needs to be based solely on the 10 years given to public service rather than 120 payments.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

We’re just sayin’. To abolish mask -wearing laws in some States while the rest of the Nation keeps theirs is like designating a peeing section of the swimming pool.
Told my scholars I might get locked out from virtual school tomorrow by CPS because I refuse to go into the building. 5 minutes later, I called on one of them and she didn’t respond.
Me: “Hey, what you up to?”
4th grader: “I’m emailing the mayor.”
