@CClarkReport She has a deep resentment for Caitlin’s fame and fortune and has to resort to threats of physical violence. She would hurt Caitlin, if she had the opportunity. You can see it in her eyes.
The question is how long can Caitlin withstand this constant hatred at work?
@MarkSingelais@VerbalCommits No problem, Reid can go. Let’s see if G-MAC takes him. Gerry has already siphoned off all or most of Siena’s talent, which is shameful and inappropriate, in my opinion. There should be some NCAA safeguards to prevent mid-majors from being destroyed when their coach decamps.
@GoodmanHoops@MarkSingelais@TheFieldOf68 Unfortunately Reid has never really lived up to his star billing at Siena, but perhaps he will now that he has overcome his injury. We wish him and Coach Smith the very best next season.
@davidfaber I have enjoyed your work for decades now, from back in the days when you and Kernan et al hosted Squawk Box. Now, it seems like you are on vacation or have the day off more than you are present on Squawk on the Street. What’s going on with you?
@MarkSingelais Coach Carm blaming his players for lack of execution, when the poor results are more his responsibility. These kids are trying their best, but they aren’t getting what they need from him. The team is getting worse with each passing game. Time for a change Siena.
@MarkSingelais Man-to-man defense has not been effective for this team so far. Switching it up during a game might have some merit. Can’t keep doing the same things and expect better results. At this point, what do you have to lose?
@MarkSingelais@timesunion Waiting to hear coach Carm take some responsibility for this team’s poor performance, game after game, with no improvement. So far we hear: it’s a young team, MAAC is an open conference, a championship is still an expectation, players have to step up. What about the coaching?
@MarkSingelais@timesunion I respect Coach Carm and his optimism, but don’t understand what he’s saying here: “The MAAC’s a wide open league,”?? Then, “We just have to make sure what our part is and what we have to do.” What does any of this mean??? Can we just win a game?
@MarkSingelais@timesunion Talk about your rose-colored glasses. I see no evidence to support any of that. I’m searching to see if there is an upcoming game they can possibly win, much less a championship.
@MarkSingelais The team seems like they’re playing scared, with very little confidence.
We realize they aren’t the most talented group, but they should be competing better. The motivational and psychological parts must come from the coaching staff.
@SaintsBanter Losing five straight to end the regular season is disheartening. Turnovers are killing their chances. Team lacks confidence for some reason, which doesn’t bode well for their performance in the conference tournament. Coaches have their work cut out for them.
@SienaMBB Saints should have won in regulation, but let a 7 pt. lead slip away in final minute or so. And then their shooting went cold in OT, while Army shooters rose to the occasion and pulled away.
Should have gotten the ball to Eely and Platek, hottest shooters
last night.
@timseymour Hey Tim, Karen said she’s a night owl and you replied that was a cigar name back in the day. Actually the cigar brand was White Owl, Mel Allen used to smoke them.
