As PM, I helped establish the Cancer Drugs Fund to support patients who were being denied lifesaving treatments. With dementia, we have reached a similar moment. After decades of waiting, we finally have treatments that can slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. The challenge now is to make sure patients have the opportunity to benefit from that progress.

There is now a strong case for a dedicated Dementia Drugs Fund to help make that happen. We found a way forward for cancer patients; I urge the government to show the same determination for people affected by dementia. #ForACure #EndingAlzheimers
