Went to the Mexican grand prix last year and that ended up being the capstone to my F1 fandom. Great spectacle, awesome destination - festival vibes. But as a sporting competition it was meh
Formula 1 is in a tough spot.
They timed up the hype of Netflix's F1 show PERFECTLY with a super competitive season in 2021.
But now Red Bull wins every race by 20 seconds & many new fans in the US are already losing interest.
The sport needs to be competitive to keep growing.
@soyupak Agree, but it’s also true that you miss out on things if you don’t plan ahead (eg top restaurant reservations, unique accommodations, anything scarce). Some blend of the two is ideal imo
Imagine not loving this sport. Like thinking white bread is the best bread. Couldn't be me.
- Sent from a tiny tapas bar in Spain that is going absolutely nuts right now 🇪🇸
@BenWilsonTweets @CercleMusic Good call!
They'd leave some money on the table but I was thinking iconic streetball courts like Rucker Park in Harlem or aesthetically beautiful venues like this. Optimize for PPV streaming and YouTube

9) Kuliouou Beach Park
Location: Oahu, Hawaii
Fun Fact: With shallow water & plenty of "nicer" beaches nearby, one of the most beautiful basketball courts in the world is also frequently empty.

This could be more popular than the NBA.
- 12 sec shot clock, no timeouts
- 3 fouls, 1 sub
- outdoor courts around the world (winter classic meets @CercleMusic)
5) 3on3 PPV
Mayweather vs Pacquiao brought in $600M+
How much more famous is LeBron James than Floyd Mayweather?
Imagine LeBron vs Steph. Bring your own crew. No subs. Best of 7 games to 31. Winner gets $50M and a belt that says "greatest basketball player in the world."
Omg that was the wildest finish 🤯🤯🤯 @LewisHamilton the 🐐 but that was amazing!! Well done @Max33Verstappen!
This season of Drive to Survive on @netflix is going to be WILD!
