On our last day of NORTH Summer STEM Camp, we are giving a huge thank you to our head counselor, Zach! Little know fact, running a STEM camp was Zach's idea and he has worked tirelessly to make sure that all of our campers have a great week. Thank you Zach for all you do!
Today our elementary aged campers took on some mini-challenges and our middle schoolers started to combine autonomous and driver controlled robotics to complete "Package Dash!"
We are so lucky to have Harper on our NORTH Summer STEM camp team! Harper is easily one of the most creative people at NKHS and this on top of her organization and positivity make her the perfect camp counselor! Thanks Harper!
This morning, we are taking on our first autonomous challenge, programming our robots to drive through some challenging courses! Good news is teamwork makes these challenges much easier.

We were hard at work today making devices to protect homes during earthquakes and storm surges, luckily we had a little time to get in a game of drip drip drop!
STEM Solutions is off to a great start! Yesterday, we learned about the water cycle while making our own Eco-Columns. Today we worked as a team to make noise cancelling devices and our own wind turbines!
