Hostels in our townships were not just accommodation, they were the official infrastructure for this system: Warehouses for full-time workers and part-time fathers.

They deliberately engineered absent fathers and now we act shocked at the statistics.

These four companies were paid millions by the OR Tambo District Municipality but these companies didn't deliver the services they were paid for. This was outright looting.
