@benjamingaines @murph194 @DJJNH @ThePizzaSavior No, I started with charcoal/wood, to get a feel for the taste. Then switched to propane when I got sick of the downsides (cleanup, lack of temp control). I then had a good feel for what was most important to me.

@murph194 @DJJNH @benjamingaines @ThePizzaSavior Oh man yes!!! Charcoal/wood is wayyyyy tastier, but harder to control, and more difficult to clean. Start with charcoal and/or wood, and then swap to propane once you're used to it.
