How was a 7-time convicted felon - with 2 pending felony cases - on the street when he was accused of robbing a dollar store and then shooting 2 Chicago cops?
@CourtSpinelliTV digs in and has the answers:

Must watch interview with @BenSasse.
It’s the best thing I’ve seen on TV in years. Our world and nation would be a much better place if everyone took heed of the lessons and warnings laid out by Ben.
Extended interview: Former Nebraska senator Ben Sasse has metastatic pancreatic cancer. He spoke with 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley about where America has been and where it could still go.
I'll probably get clobbered for this, but here goes: Please, can everyone, right or left, MAGA or anti-MAGA, Republican or Democrat, stop catastrophizing and trying to get everyone on your side worked up into a rage? It's not Flight 93. We're not on the verge of fascism. We do not need to take desperate measures. Our fellow citizens with whom we disagree are not devils incarnate or personifications of evil. We need to argue with our political adversaries--passionately perhaps--but with respect for their humanity and dignity. We don't need to destroy them. That mustn't be our aim. We all say we believe in democracy. Good! But democracy is all about persuading, giving reasons, engaging one another as fellow citizens, despite our disagreements. Let's rebuild civic friendship. We can do this. (Thank you for your attention to this matter.)
If you’re mad about Virginia, support a national gerrymandering ban.
If you’re not willing to take map-drawing away from politicians in every state, you’re not mad about gerrymandering. You’re mad your side lost this round.
Chicago Public Schools just pulled federally mandated special education services from 800+ students with disabilities at Catholic schools — mid-year, with no warning. This is not just wrong. It may be illegal. Let me explain. 👇
Last year, I met a Mexican athlete who told me an incredible story—that he’d been kidnapped in 2023 and forced to compete for his life in a secret tournament of cartels. Once I started reporting, the story only got more surreal.

Reprehensible. Anti-semitism is on the rise in this country, particularly on the far left and far right. We all must stand up and speak out against it. Full stop.

@PetrellaReports You’re right, @PetrellaReports. It will likely end up below Dem turnout in 2018 (last year with an off-cycle contested statewide primary). I actually expected it to be higher. Still some outstanding though. The story is the anemic GOP TO, even relative to other bad GOP years.
Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔
After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite.
Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial.
Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal.
I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices.
This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.
Leadership in New York requires the ability to hold multiple truths at once.
The mayor is entitled to his views on this matter, even though I strongly disagree with Mahmoud Khalil’s rhetoric, which many Jewish New Yorkers have experienced as contributing to a climate of hostility.
But the mayor is no longer a candidate; he is now the mayor of the most diverse city in the world and must be seen as a mayor for all New Yorkers, which includes close to 1 million Jews.
If our democracy affords Mahmoud Khalil due process rights, as it should, then those same democratic principles must also extend to the civil rights of students and staff to study and work in an environment free from hate, intimidation, and harassment. We cannot be selective about whose rights we defend.
Federal civil rights investigators in the Biden administration found evidence that the civil rights of Jewish students at Columbia University were violated repeatedly and that the university failed to adequately respond to a hostile environment of antisemitic harassment.
If the mayor truly cares about ensuring democratic protections apply to all New Yorkers, then he should also give an audience at Gracie Mansion to the very Columbia University Jewish students whose Title VI civil rights violations were substantiated by federal investigators in President Biden’s administration. Their stories deserve to be heard so that no student, in any educational setting, is ever forced to endure hate and intimidation again.
Leadership in this moment requires moral clarity and a commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of every New Yorker, which includes the Jewish community.
It is confusing & concerning for a refugee like me—who fled China and whose 28 relatives arrested—that many U.S media continue to promote Eileen Gu, who refused to speak abt the atrocities committed by the China that funded her, plus she chose a rival, dictator regime over U.S
The contrast in how the media is treating an athlete who chose profit and abandoned her country to win medals for the CCP vs athletes who proudly won medals for America is insane and embarrassing for them.
Eileen Gu claims to be a “punching bag” after accepting millions from a CCP propaganda campaign.
The real victims:
👉 “More than one million Uyghurs have been arbitrarily detained.” — U.N.
👉 “China is committing genocide against Uyghurs.” — U.S. State Department
