🎙️📸 Rio Ferdinand on Enzo Maresca leaving Chelsea for Manchester City:
🗣️ “I’ll be honest, I never thought we’d get to hear the full story from Maresca himself. For months, everyone was blaming the owners for sacking one of their best managers in recent years, but the club simply knew something the public didn’t.”
🗣️ “If a player or a manager no longer sees a club as the place he want, then why should the club want to keep him? Sometimes the biggest move a club can make is knowing when to let go.”
🗣️ “From Maresca’s side though, I found it disappointing. Chelsea gave him the biggest opportunity of his career. They took him from Leicester, trusted him with one of the biggest jobs in England and gave him a platform to build his name.”
🗣️ “You don’t leave a club like that halfway through a project because Pep Guardiola calls you. That’s not how you repay a club that believed in you before everyone else did.”
🗣️ I actually respect Chelsea for acting immediately. Once they realized his mind wasn’t fully at the club anymore, they moved on instead of begging someone to stay.
🗣️ And look at who they’ve brought in Xabi Alonso. A manager with a bigger résumé, a stronger personality and someone who can influence an entire football club, not just the starting eleven.
🗣️ “Maybe Maresca leaving and Xabi becoming available at almost the same time wasn’t just a coincidence. It could be a blessing in disguise. #CFC
🚨PEP GUARDIOLA ON CHELSEA:
🗣️“People will laugh when I say this, but I don’t care. Chelsea are the best club in the world in the 21st century.
Their mentality, their history, the way they build teams… even when they struggle, they always find a way back.
If you ask me which club I would never want to face at their best, it’s Chelsea.
I have enormous respect for them. The Premier League needs Chelsea at the top.”
All I know between the three clubs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelod Sundowns and Kaizer chiefs, they can't all win in one weekend! Never!!!

Mofokeng was all smiles in the pre-match warm-ups yesterday as he looked to have his first taste of UEFA Champions League football. 🇿🇦
However, he was an unused sub and will have to wait until next Tuesday, 11 August, where Union St Gilloise will play the return leg at Bodø/Glimt in Norway.
Should Union not qualify for UCL, they will automatically enter the Europa League play-off round. 🌍
Now, let’s talk about Chelsea Football Club;
Mykhailo Mudryk was banned from playing football since November, 2024. Every other club in the world would’ve thrown the player under the bus and then terminate his contract. But what did Chelsea do? The club released a statement showing their support for the player and following due process. All the fans came together to defend and support him through the entire journey.
Almost two years later, he has been vindicated and will now come back to repay the loyalty and support that both the club and fans gave to him during the most difficult time of his life.
I honestly can’t wait for the amazing things Misha will do for Chelsea going forward. 🦋💙💙
Real Madrid & Barcelona wanted to sign Sebastian Pedersen but he rejected them and told them he wants to play for the South African Champions Orlando pirates.🤭🔥
🚨🗞️🎙 Aaron Mokoena sends a clear message to Relebohile Mofokeng following his move to Union SG! 🇿🇦🇧🇪
Mokoena warned: "The first thing he must understand is that he’s a foreigner."
"He’s going to have to be 10 times better than the local players. They accept foreign players who deliver. Average simply won’t do. It’s not enough just to be talented." 💯
🚨🔵 | John Obi Mikel on Morgan Rogers choosing Chelsea over Arsenal:
🔹🎙️"Chelsea finished 10th, Arsenal won the league, yet Morgan Rogers still chose Chelsea. That alone tells you how powerful this football club still is. League tables don't erase history or ambition."
🔹🎙️"If you win the league and still lose your top target to a club that finished 10th, that's a statement. That's what I call big-club business. Chelsea's pull has never disappeared."
🚨🤯 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: FIFA have officially DENIED Real Madrid of their first trophy of the season.
Marc Cucurella is officially recognised as a Chelsea player in Spain’s World Cup-winning squad, despite Madrid announcing his signing before the tournament even began. 😭🏆❌
