i used to work at an architecture firm (doing graphic design). my absolute favorite thing to look at were material boards that the interior design/FF&E team put together, like these. working on a portfolio revamp inspired by them..
The acoustics at @pullman_yards was absolute trash. I was really looking forward to @andrewbird@IronAndWine but could barely hear anything throughout the set. Didn't help that people were legit shout-chatting all around (why are yall even at the concert???)
Anyone experiencing weird commenting behavior on @figma? My comments keep disappearing after submitting, but I see notifications about it on email and Slack.
I've used @sprout_place on different occasions (team watercoolers, brainstorm, catch up calls) and it's brought a lot of joy and laughter! https://t.co/Bb8u1fssoJ
She took account my previous experience, and saw how it related to the position theyโre looking to fill; didnโt discount it as โirrelevantโ.
Such an uplifting moment โจ๐
I was a graphic designer for 4y, then decided to switch to product design and took this opp to get a degree. Iโve been in the industry for 1 year now and have always seen, and branded myself as entry-level. Bc thatโs what people tell me I am.
Today in an interview, when I told the HM that I might not be โseniorโ enough for what theyโre looking for, HM told me that Iโm โnot entry-levelโ thatโs the most gratifying, solacing thing Iโve ever heard in a long time.
Pretty cool to see parallels between work I did for my thesis last year & some Focus stuff that's revealed at #WWDC21 yday.
This design concept lets you share your status in iMessages, so others know when you're not available.
