Our STEMist of the week for this week is… Carlos Juan Finlay. Dr. Finlay is known for his contribution in epidemiology, specifically with determining how Yellow Fever was transmitted: by an infected mosquito (Aedes aegypti) #HispanicHeritageMonth #LatinxInSTEM
