Very proud to see my work alongside such a great set of articles in latest @SculptureJnl addressing recent issues around public space, monuments and iconoclasm #BlackLivesMatter#iconoclasm

@schooltruth@JohnAmaechi Schools don’t have the resources (or imperatives) to provide the right support so Local Authorities are being sued by desperate parents into paying for £££ private alternative provision. There is a whole legal industry growing around this too.
@DannyDrinksWine This used to be the usp of Mubi - a new film each day so you trust their decision and try it. Forces you to try new genres, directors, countries etc Now they have changed the programming and selection it does not feel the same.
Incredibly revealing body language on #PoliticsLive - Tory lecturing the new Labour minister on prisons (!) her hand literally moves across the desk invading her space. They cannot believe they are not in charge any more.

When Walter Benjamin had a son in 1918 he fell in love with old fashioned children's books. This is one of his favorites from his collection. It's a late 19th century German book called "The Magical
Red Umbrella," with psychedelic illustrations worthy of Henry Darger.
@AbigailSusik@MamanUbu I was fortunate to meet all of his descendants at a WB conference in Berne (they came to my paper!). Stephan ran a bookstore in London and married twice I think. They are trying to get a biography of Dora who was an amazing translator and novelist.
