"We're learning about Romans & we made a sandal! We cut cardboard to make the base & glued cardboard to make straps. We hole punched them & threaded string through & tied them. We tried them out,walking down the corridor to see if the shoe would stay in one piece - some did not!"
Year 6 have been learning about the #Christingle in their RE lesson this week. They enjoyed making them and looked at what the different parts represent. #Christmas
Year 3's topic is Stone/Iron Age. They've looked at the textures of cave walls, animals & hunters that tell a story. It looked like the animals were moving when the hunters moved their torches. The images were sketches rather than drawings, drawn using natural objects & colours.

Making lanterns for Lantern Day! These were made by sticking coloured paper on the outside of jars. The children then put kind words on them like joy, happy, funny and kind. π

Last Friday reception teacher Mrs Fowler, asked the school to help to declutter and do a deep clean for free ( still on school grounds )! It was a huge success and we really appreciate all your help.
What a fabulous day our yr3/4 girls had at the #football festival, run by the Albion! They played lots of different warm-up games and to finish, they played a few matches. They all worked so well together. They all enjoyed themselves so much. β½οΈ
πOn Thursday, the children from Nurture had a special visit to βO βCurniciello Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria!β They had the fantastic opportunity to make pizzas with the twice Guinness World Record baking chef, Enzo Fiore! #Lancing π
